Slowly we're progressing...
Despite if we have to dig out the holes again, because it was pouring down in the night. And as you can see they are deep and involve quite a bit of work to dig them out with the shell of a coconut

Today we cemented the L

In between got some treetrunks from the beach with everybody that was around (unfortunately, Matteo got cut out of the picture by the photographer)

and pierce the wooden panels with about 2 million holes for the holds

Bouldercave II

Unfortunately, for reason of lack of money and time, we had to postpone the mushroom and rooftraverse of the project until an unknown date in the future. So now it's going to be more of a boulderwall in L-shape. Maybe one day the rest is going to be added.

The Bouldercave

Got the task to build a boulderwall in between the mangotree on the left and the watertank on the right side of the picture with Matteo, a guy from Argentina. That way, I'm going to stay for free and still be able to surf in between. First-off the place needs to be cleaned an 30 cubics of leafs and sticks to be burned.

Still a subsequent entry for Zarautz: In a bookstore in San Sebastian we found the new Boulderguide for Galizia. In it the Boulder-sector I cleaned at Monte Xalo next to  La Coruña.

More deserted Right- and Lefthanders

Here again (not again, booring!) a few pics from way out there and far away from all tourists. Stayed with a family in the area because the next hotel was a one hour drive away. Well, and this happens aswell, beautiful beach and the waves are to small:

And this, after i drove in the truest sense of the word cross-country. Tried for 2 hours to get to the beach. On the next picture you can see what I had to drive through (foto: Google). Cornfields as far as you can see and no streets. Just little tracks. And most of them were dead-ends. Then at one point I got sick of it and drove across the field. The way back was easier, hehe.

So close but so far. Top waves but where is the way?

To reach this spot I had to climb down the cliffs. One hand on the rock, one carries the surfboard. 

Alternative activity possibilities in the bouldercave

Well and as an old Dreisamsurfer (river through Freiburg) one notices the Waimeaesque outflow of the lagoon. Naturally I had to try it. To the exitement amusement of the fishers on the beach. Greetings to Krabbelgruppe Abteilung München. You would have been able to rip more than me.

Didn't have a boat or a Crashpad. So forward my adress to Petzl or Mammut so they can send me some stuff. Also a Hilti and some bolts.
