Taiwan XIII

Had to wait for the train in Hualien. On my Express-Skateboard-Tour through the city i found this temple. Don't ask me for the name. But it was a little bigger than the average one.

Taiwan XII

I wanted to go back to Fongbin. The river entering the ocean there is somewhat bigger than the normal river here. Because of the rain of the last days the ocean had dark brown colour. So i decided to make a move to the next town, Jiqi. Even the Taiwanese told me, that there's nothing and it's going to be so boring that i'm going to die if i even find a place to stay.

Firstoff here's my way to the beach in the morning:



I was alone there with 7 buffalos and 3 dogs

And that's the informative timetable for the buses. After a while i got sick of waiting and hitchhicked.

Tribal Christmas

So thats how they do a Christmas-Party in Taiwan.The whole family gathers and after the buffet there's a band playing and the different tribes perform dancing-shows for the rest of the more than 100 people. Everybody dancing, singing and laughing. And i didn't understand a word. But for sure i found it entertaining.

A few pics from the surf of the last few days

Once again a nice surf in the morning

The brownish water from the rivermouth in the right side of the picture has its colour due to the rain of the last days. I seemingly swallowed a bit and had to puke 2 times after the surf. Now everythings fine again.

The blank is finished shaping and looks absolutely crazy. Now it only needs to be glassed. This could be a problem because the waves are good these days, hehe.
