Singapore II

Respect to this graffiti-artist, who firstclass sprayed an entire underpass in Singapore

Singapore

A short flight to Singapore and back and you get a new visa for Indonesia. And as I was there, I for sure also had a look at the city and its crazy architecture...

Subsequent entry: Indonesia XI

Here's the worst edited video I ever cut. But a slow Netbook with a shitty cutting program (because others don't work) plus HD-movies lead to a bad video. Also because i didn't want to wait for hours until the little computer progressed something and rather went surfing. The video tells the story of the last part of the drive to a surfspot I found on Google-Earth. Then a little change in format from 16:9 to 4:3, hehe. And in the end even half of a wave in supercheesy slowmo. I promise I'm going to reedit my videos as soon as I'm in front of a descent computer (and maybe add more surfing and less driving).

Indonesia XII

An afternoon without waves. What to do? Waterfall!

Indonesia XI

Lots of surfing = little pics. Here nevertheless a few from the video that got ripped apart trying to export it. I'm going to post it later. I spend a descent amount of time to find uncrowded surf with the help of Google-Earth. Here a picture from paddling out to one of the deserted waves I found.

.

And there the water was literally glas. You can even see my shadow on the reef.

Here a foto from a more known spot, but not less beautiful... and nevertheless i surfed it alone, hehe!

That makes you asking yourself how the Christians think paradise must look like if this is the place we ended up after we got kicked out there

Subsequent entry 2: Nyepi

How to....   blend in unnoticed into religious ceremonies as a tourist. Thats why from me you'll mostly get pics of landscapes

''Ahhh, surfing again!!''
Sorry, but it's way cheaper than culturetrips. And it was so much fun again, hehe! On top of that in the picture it looks way smaller than it actually was (around 3 to 4m in front of the wave)

Indonesia VII

2 weeks for free in the Surfcamp were great, but the city just can't reach this

Sunrise with the absolute funwaves (2m / 15sec/ offshore/ 300m long) One minute surfing, 10 minutes paddeling and then the next wave. A happily grinning carousel of 10 stoked surfers

here the result of one day of constant surfing. Except the two milkshakestops and half an hour middayrest with Nasi Goreng.

the try to fit the wave in one picture (didn't work out, there's more on the right side)

one Local fishing, one Local shows how to surf

Fun in the morning (2)

Here some pictures from surfing the Beachbreak a few days ago (see Post further down)

A day on the beach

Waves, rocks or girls, where to look now?

in the evening, the sky was on fire

Selamat Nyepi

Balinese Newyear: in the evening the bad demons get chased away with homemade Monsters (ogoh ogoh) and after midnight there's absolute curfew for a day and one night. Nobody on the streets and no light after sunset. This way the demons should be fooled because they can't find anybody and therefore they're supposed to leave the island for a long time. For me this meant the first religion-forced Layday of my life...
