Another day without waves therefore a SUP-tour along the coast instead of surflessons:

Here another overview of my workplace (the first beach with the waves)

When the waves are small (it's summer) we do trips on the Monsterboards

or "Coasteering" means "walk along the coast"

every now and then you have to swim then

jump a little...

...climb...

or jump into the water

at the end after a little bit climbing...

...there's a medium high jump

and a high one for the experienced jumpers

So here is where I'm going to be the whole summer. First off a picture from my workplace. Have to admit that without waves it's not the best commercial to promote this place

Bromo II

In the afternoon through the ash desert towards the crater

from this point on no horses allowed

From the top you can see right into the crater. And it was so loud that you could only communicate screaming

your hair stands on end

what's left is the long way back

Bromo I

Sunrise at Bromo. Something maaaany tourists are doing. But it was one of the most impressive things I was able to witness because at the moment it (he?) was erupting. Therefore a multitude of pictures that have got more or less the same content. And that is just the selection (some pics Soso respectively Sosos camera)
